Is this Hell or Cincinnati?

Yes, it is Christmas Eve and I am beginning my second day of captivity in the Cincinnati airport. I happen to be one of the unfortunate many who happened to be flying through Cincinnati when they got hit with one of the worst blizzards anyone here can remember. And while it hasnt snowed a flake in over 24 hours, there's no deicing fluid for any of the airplanes. Apparently the powers that be were not aware of winter or the fact that it arrives every year at this time. Morons. Someone needs to go find that pencil pusher and piss in his eggnog.

Overall though, this hasnt been so bad. Ive met plenty of cool people, found a nice soft piece of floor to sleep on, and made an otherwise unpleasant experience fairly enjoyable. The one thing I really miss at this point is my cell phone charger. Mine is safe and sound in my check-in luggage where it is of no use to anyone. Of course, my model phone (Motorola i730) is the only model charger none of the stores around here seem to carry. Needless to say my phone is as dead as a doornail.

As of now, I am scheduled to leave here today at 11:50 AM, but I've been scheduled to leave here plenty of times before too. I have quite the collection of seat assignments, boarding passes, and standby slips from flights long cancelled. At this point, I won't hold my breath. No need to, either really. Ive got plenty of photography magazines with me, my laptop, and $10 a day internet access. Give me more low carb options and I just might move in! OK, maybe not.

If you should happen to see Santa today, ask if he could swing by the Cincinnati airport and give me a lift back to Iowa? I'd really appreciate it. At this point, it just might take a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer to get me there.
